Thank you for participating in the beta testing of our new Q&A Bot. Your feedback is crucial to help us refine and improve this tool before its public release.

The Q&A Bot is designed to provide faithful, accurate responses to questions about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints using FAIR's extensive resources.

1Testing Instructions

  1. Click the question mark icon in the bottom right corner to open the Q&A Bot.
  2. Ask challenging theological, historical, or doctrinal questions.
  3. Try variations of similar questions to test consistency.
  4. Ask questions that you think members or investigators commonly struggle with.
  5. After receiving an answer, please rate it using the thumbs up/down buttons.

2Types of Questions to Try

  • Historical questions about Joseph Smith, the First Vision, or the Book of Mormon translation
  • Doctrinal questions about temple practices, priesthood, or revelation
  • Questions about controversial topics like polygamy or race and the priesthood
  • Common misunderstandings about church teachings
  • Apologetic responses to critics' arguments

Feedback and Evaluation

When evaluating responses, please consider the following criteria:

Positive Indicators

  • Accurate doctrinal and historical information
  • Faithful perspective that builds testimony
  • Clear, concise explanations
  • Appropriate use of scripture and quotes
  • Helpful resource links

Negative Indicators

  • Factual inaccuracies or doctrinal errors
  • Speculative or unofficial interpretations
  • Dismissive or defensive tone
  • Missing context for historical events
  • Confusing or unclear explanations

Two Ways to Provide Feedback

  1. Quick Feedback: Use the thumbs up/down buttons that appear after each answer in the Q&A Bot.
  2. Detailed Feedback: For more extensive comments, suggestions, or to report specific issues, click the Give More Feedback link in the navigation bar to send an email with your observations.
